**National Manager of Radiation Therapy Education and Excellence**

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Leading RT education by developing and delivering evidence-based, patient-centred clinical education and training to ensure the RT workforce has the right qualifications, skills, knowledge, and supervision to provide safe, high-quality health care to our patients.
- Being accountable at an advanced level for the design, implementation, and assessment of RT education programs, managing educational resources, and providing RT experience related to educational issues within Icon Cancer Services.
- Supporting the collaborative engagement of RT staff to achieve the strategic goals of Icon.
- Leading change and organisational improvement strategies in RT; Leading the evaluation of RT practice to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Policies and Procedures, Tripartite, Clinical Practice Guidelines, and Accreditation requirements.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the Icon Group culture and reputation by demonstrating behaviours and attitudes that are consistent with Icon’s vision and values.
- Collaborating with the RPU to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

**Skills & Experience**:
- Minimum 8 years clinical experience as a radiation therapist with full accreditation
- Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills at an advanced level including ability to consult, negotiate and maintain relationships with all levels of health professional and key stake holders
- Experience in a leading a clinical education team to design, implement, assess and evaluate RT education programs (Highly Desirable)
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing human resources matters relating to the team (Desirable)
**Qualifications**:
- Licence to practise as a radiation therapist with AHPRA
- Cert IV in workplace training and assessment, or working towards (desirable)
