**The Role**

We are currently seeking a Technical and Production Support Manager to assist in managing the productivity and maintenance of our national asphalt plants. Prior experience with plant production in heavy industries will be highly regarded, as will mechanical fitting skills.
- Provide direct support to the production operation teams to identify, quantify and address various production and reliability issues.
- Conduct annual (or more frequent as required) inspections of production assets and ensure that the assets are being maintained in accordance with the Asset Management Plan and that any identified issues or discrepancies are documented, investigated and addressed.
- Provide tailored support, advice and guidance concerning maintenance, repair and production tasks, tailored to individual site capability/need.
- Support the Fixed Assets Manager in development and execution of the Fixed Assets strategy.

**About You**
- Knowledge of various mechanical/maintenance tasks applicable to heavy industry and/or manufacturing, including electric motors, bearings, gearboxes, reduction and drive systems, chain and belt elevators, conveyor belts, wear parts, pneumatics, electrical controls, manufacturing, process engineering etc.
- Knowledge of asphalt production process highly regarded.
- Knowledge/experience of field electronics/control systems also highly regarded, but by no means essential.
