Full Time Barista in Chatswood

Flower Child Chatswood is hiring a full-time head barista. Thinking to work in the most iconic and busiest cafe & restaurant in the local area? Ability to run 8 - 10kg of coffee beans on daily basis
Decent latte art skill
Knowledge of coffee machines, grinders
Experience work at busy cafes
Able to work individually as well as in a team
**Primary Duty**:
- Responsible for the quality and consistency of coffee and beverages being served according to the company’s guideline;
- Responsible for all ordering (including milk, coffee, cakes, pastries & miscellaneous such as cups etc.);
- Responsible for training and development of the coffee team;
- Responsible for infrastructure maintenance, trouble-shooting and repairs (by engaging appropriate contractors);
- Responsible for managing customer complaints and feedback on any beverage related issues;
- Responsible for the timeliness of beverage service;
- Some closing shifts later start, finishing at 4:00pm - 5:00pm, pack down, restock, prep following FIFO rule;
- Both weekend days are part of the requirement of this role;
- Attend necessary training provided by the company;
- Coordinating with the venue manager for barista rostering and have an eye on the cost;
