Storeperson (Aboriginal Identified)

We are currently hiring an experienced **Storeperson **to work at our **Gepps Cross SA **warehouse

**This is an Indigenous

**What your new role entails**:

- Receiving, checking and storing of incoming goods
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
- Forklift operations to assist with despatch and receiving of goods
- Inventory management and cycle counting
- Use of computer systems for data entry and use of Freight Management System
- Problem Solving customer requests
- Manufacture, assemble, service and/or test as required Wire ropes, Wire rope slings,

Chain sling and various other lifting, rigging or safety products/assemblies in accordance with Australian Standards.

**What you will bring with you**:

- Previous experience in a Warehouse or Pick/pack operations
- Current Forklift licence with recent experience on a counterbalance forklift is preferred, but not essential. We will support training and assistance to obtain a forklift licence.
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment - preferred but not essential. If you have some mechanical aptitude, we can build a development program for you.
- Experience with receiving and despatch preferred
- Computer skills for data entry - training will be provided
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a sometimes physically demanding role
- A commitment to safety and quality
- Willingness to learn and progress into other roles within our business
- Willingness to work in a small team

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gepps Cross SA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
