**About the role**

**Key responsibilities**
- Accurately completing production records and documentation
- Performing relevant quality checks
- Batching and preparation of ingredients
- Setting up production equipment and ensuring it is in good working order
- Manual handling and lifting
- Manually packing products into cartons
- Assisting with warehouse duties
- Adhering to food safety and GMP policies and procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy working environment through regular cleaning of the processing area and equipment

**The ideal applicant will have**
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Have total commitment towards safety
- Ability to learn and follow site specific procedures
- Be a team player and interact well with others
- Previous experience working in food manufacturing or an industrial kitchen
- Be reliable and flexible
- Basic literacy & numeracy skills
- Have a reliable mode of transport
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
