**About the Role**

To ensure minimum requirements are met for care, handling and reprocessing of reusable medical devices within the Sterilisng Services Department and overseeing the implementation and ongoing coordination of the education programme.

**This will include but not limited to**:

- SSD Student Support and Assessment
- SSD Staff Skill Set and Education Programme
- Relief cover for SSD Team Leaders
- Maintaining cleanliness of all work areas including benches, trolleys, machines and equipment
- Cleaning, inspecting, assembling, packing and sterilising Reusable Medical Devices ensuring any damage is reported in a timely manner.
- **Available to work a 7-day rotating roster including night shift.**

**You will also bring**:

- Certificate III in Health Service Sterilisation Services
- 4 years current SSD Technician experience
- Obtained or working towards a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
- Strong interest in mentoring and development of staff
- Certificate III Sterilising Services
- Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training or working towards.

**Desirable**: Certificate IV in Sterilising Services.
