**The Corporate Finance team leads complex event-driven and transformational opportunities for mid-market customers in diversified industries with both private and public companies. **Do work that matters**

**Reporting to the Executive Director Capital Solutions, the**Research Associate**within Corporate Finance will support the broader Major Client Group (MCG) nationally in providing market leading data and research analytics, which will assist the broader team in determining their origination strategies, value proposition and approach to market.**

**More specifically, you will**:

- **Drive several Research coordination, analytical and client support activities to deliver market leading research, analysis and thought leadership.**:

- **Support senior colleagues to develop research views and forecasts on current market activity, future growth prospects and the broader economic landscape.**:

- **Succinctly present the research and data analytics to key business stakeholders, through sophisticated charts and graphs, etc.**:

- **Contribute ideas and options to develop or align with the wider Research strategy.**:

- **Contribute to supporting the development and continual improvement of process and structures within Research to build a sustainable and adaptive franchise.**:

- **Understand and develop strategic, long term stakeholder relationships and influence and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders (including clients; MCG functional leads, etc) to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.**:

- **Develop an understanding of the dynamics influencing Research to continually anticipate and adapt to changing client and environment needs.

- **Previous experience in a Research Analytics / Client Insights role will be heavily regarded but not essential.**:

- **Analytically minded, with strong research skills and an ability to analyse, interpret and present complex data.**:

- **Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts.**:

- **Highly organised with the ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a team environment.**:

- **Very strong oral and written communication skills.**:

- **High levels of integrity & trust.**:

- **Ability to project manage multiple competing priorities.**:

- **Ability to meet strict deadlines & timeframes.**
