Council is seeking **hardworking and motivated Parks and Gardens Labourers** to join our **Parks & Gardens team within our Open Space department**.

**About the role**:
Not limited to the below, an average day may see you:

- Mowing and maintaining lawns
- Pruning and trimming shrubs and trees
- Planting and caring for flowers and other plants
- Clearing litter and debris
- Performing general maintenance tasks
- Operating and maintaining equipment and tools

**About the person**:
We seek individuals who have:

- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour
- Knowledge of horticulture and gardening techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- A current Driver’s Licence (MR Licence preferred)
- WorkCover accredited Construction Induction Card (White Card)

Previous experience in a similar position and a Chemical Users Certificate will be highly regarded.

**What’s on offer**

We are offering competitive remuneration between **$50,396.67 - $57,908.19 per annum + allowance + Super.** We also offer excellent employee benefits which include:
