- UGL are seeking interest from Supervisor’s to join the Fuels & Energy Business. As part of the portfolio, this position will be working on a secured contract with a major oil and gas operator onsite in Newcastle, NSW.

**About the role**

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for management of a multi-discipline blue-collar labour (Direct and Sub-Contractor) within their assigned scope of work or work area. This position is to ensure that work is completed in a safe and efficient manner that meets the quality and schedule requirements as stipulated within the agreed maintenance plan.
- The Maintenance Supervisor is to ensure that UGL delivers a high-quality service to our Client’s and provides supervision and coordination as assigned by the Superintendent / Regional Program Manager/Maintenance Planner.

**About you**

To be considered for the role the following qualifications will be highly regarded:

- Trade qualification as an Electrician, Instrumentation Technician, Mechanical Fitter or Boiler Maker
- Minimum 10 years’ experience performing similar industry
- Significant experience managing and leading teams
- Strong commitment to developing and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Strong decision making and negotiating skills
- Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlines
- Basic to mid-level skills in computers: MS Word, Excel
