We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Assistant, to provide secretariat and administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer, and assist Operations Management team to improve collaboration, communication and staff engagement across the division.
Led by the Chief Operating Officer, the Operations Division provides strategic leadership, advice and solutions across the organisation, and comprises Finance, People and Culture, Security, Facilities, and Strategy and Risk functions. This Division also incorporates the Library’s commercial activities and the work of the State Library Foundation.
To be successful in the Executive Assistant role you will have the following knowledge and experience.
- strong time management and organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple requests with differing levels of urgency, complexity, and interdependencies
- a background in a similar executive support role with experience in successfully managing an executive’s diary and acting as the first point of contact
- experience in providing secretariat support to committees
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a flair for well written correspondence and reports.
- a proven track record in proactively identifying process improvements to ensure quality service delivery
- demonstrated experience in dealing with confidential issues in a discreet and professional manner
