**About the role**

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As Business Manager, you’ll be the right hand to the CEO of ART Life, guiding the business strategically, financially, and operationally. You’ll help shape what’s next, support a new leadership team, and bring structure to big ideas.

Here's what you'll be doing:

- Support the CEO with planning, decision-making, and communication.
- Guide the business on strategy, financials, and board/committee engagement.
- Help bed down a new leadership team and support team cohesion.
- Manage high-impact projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate executive meetings—agendas, materials, follow-ups.
- Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Build strong relationships across the business and with key stakeholders.
- Help shape and deliver ART Life’s strategic and operational plans.
- Champion a collaborative and purpose-led culture.

Here's what you'll bring:

- Proven ability to influence senior leaders, foster collaboration across teams, and drive strategic outcomes in a complex environment.
- Confidence preparing and reviewing board and committee submissions.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to look ahead 3-6 months and plan accordingly.
- Strong financial acumen, budgeting, expense tracking, and understanding financial drivers.
- A background in business, strategy, finance, or change/project management.
- Clear, concise communication, both written and verbal.
- The ability to simplify complex ideas and make them actionable.
- A degree in business, finance, law or similar.

Nice to have:

- Experience in life insurance or superannuation.
- Familiarity with member-owned or profit-for-member environments.
