**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Maintenance Specialist to join our established team based in Coorparoo. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your primary focus will be to undertake preventative and breakdown maintenance on a range of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment in order to ensure continued, safe operations. While you will be based at our Coorparoo site, the role will involve weekly visits to our second site at Northgate, which will eventually relocate to Yatala.

Responsibilities include:

- Preventative and breakdown maintenance in accordance with MEX schedule
- Resolve operational/ technical equipment problems in order to minimise manufacturing interruptions
- Fabrication and assembly of parts/ plant
- Ensure tasks are logged through work orders in MEX
- Ensure all work carried out complies with company safety requirements and relevant regulations

The working hours for this role are Monday - Thursday, 6.00am - 2.30pm and Friday 6.00am - 12.10pm.

**About You**

While we require applicants to have at least a Cert III Mechanical Engineering, we are flexible in terms of your previous experience. While previous manufacturing experience would be highly regarded, it’s not essential - equally important will be your problem solving and critical thinking abilities, your ability to adhere to processes and your openness to new ideas.
- Cert III Mechanical Engineering or above
- Experience with CNC, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
- Experience with MEX maintenance scheduling (preferred but not essential)
- PLC experience (highly regarded but not essential)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Current driver’s licence.
