Every day, Suncare employees are making a difference to real people and making people's lives better. **Suncare Support Worker - what's involved in the role?** We are seeking a casual Support Worker who is available across a variety of hours and flexible shifts during the week (between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday). As a Support Worker you will assist our customers at Boronia Cottage on Bribie Island, which is a modern, purpose-built home for short term respite care as well as customers in the community. No two days are the same and your duties will include delivering personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, accompanying our customers on shopping trips and appointments, community activities, providing general companionship, and helping our customers build social networks. **About you** While a background or qualification in community services would be advantageous, more important are the attributes that you possess that speak to our values. We want our customers to have a great experience with our people, and our people need to have a great attitude, be friendly, willing to learn new things, and most importantly listen and understand what the customer wants. For this position you will be required to be physically fit, hold a valid Driver's licence and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured.
