**The Centre**

**Busy Learners Early Education Centre** opened in October 1993 and cares for 75 children aged from birth to school age. We provide before and after school care to school age children as well as vacation care in the school holidays. We offer many programs including bush kindy and music programs and incorporate Aboriginal perspectives into our every day learning. We also have a strong sustainability focus in our centre.

**The Opportunity**

We are looking for a Director to run our **Inala **service. The successful applicant will have the ability to lead, motivate and inspire the current team of early childhood staff along with creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with families and the surrounding community. You will coordinate all day to day Centre operations such as admin, health & safety and staff development. You will ensure strong management for the day to day operations of the centre through regular evaluation of systems and processes, as well as management of staff rosters, staff ratios and adequate supervision. You will ensure centre and staff compliance with relevant legislative documents and build and maintain a strong relationship with children, families, staff and other internal and external stakeholders.

**Must haves**
- Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace
- Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- Current First Aid, CPR & Asthmas and Anaphylaxis certificate
- Current Blue Card
- Previous experience as an Assistant Director essential
