**Position Overview**

The Service Portfolio supports the strategic priorities of the University by delivering critical services, advice and infrastructure platforms, driven by a commitment to excellent customer service. The Division of Shared Services delivers a coordinated whole of University approach to the provision of the day to day staff and student services that support performance and the overall experience of being a valued member of the University community.

The IT Hardware Deployment team is responsible for the delivery and response for reliable, effective and efficient operations regarding end-user computing, peripherals and telephony for ad-hoc deployment and larger school, college and division operational refreshes.

The Deployment Officer is responsible for providing client focused technical support for desktops, mobile devices and peripherals used at the ANU. An integral part of this role is the configuration and deployment of IT equipment to university end users.
