About Coolabunia
Coolabunia State School is situated in the South Burnett District, approximately 10km south-east of Kingaroy. It has an enrolment of approximately 125 students, taught over six classes and supported by a non-teaching Principal. Our staff are focused on providing an education to all students that is aligned to research and best practice. Ensuring quality teaching and learning is at the forefront of all decisions that are made at Coolabaunia State School.

The respect focus, coupled with focus on the values of kindness, resilience, community, persistence and responsibility, allow us to support students in their development as young people. Students are supported to develop a growth mindset and are equipped with an understanding of neuroscience that enables them to have the tools needed to regulate their emotions.
About the Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support Classroom Instruction: Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and activities, providing one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.
Classroom Management: Help maintain a positive and organised classroom environment by managing student behaviour and ensuring adherence to classroom rules.
Preparation of Materials: prepare educational materials and resources for lessons. including setting up and cleaning up before and after activities.
Student Supervision: Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, and transitions to ensure their safety and well-being.
