**The role**

Crown Sydney have a unique opportunity available to join the Surveillance Team as a Surveillance Operator. The role is on a **full-time, permanent** basis and is a key role in our business. You’ll help to ensure the integrity, safety and welfare of our patrons, visitors and residents. You’ll be responsible for conducting appropriate surveillance activity with the highest level of compliance in line with all regulatory and internal procedures, be key to the monitoring of the Crown Sydney property and all its operations as well as author reports and documents, and engage with internal and external stakeholders as appropriate.

Previous casino experience is highly desired in a similar role, or a casino operational role. You will develop a comprehensive knowledge of skills that relate to gaming and cash handling, and casino business operations. You will also be part of the team that partners with Security for emergency response.

**Some of your responsibilities will involve**:

- Maintaining awareness and monitoring of systems and alarms to protect the building
- Supporting critical incident and emergency response and assisting Security Operations teams with command, control, coordination and communication protocols
- Identifying and reporting key incidents, anomalies and information relating to illegal or suspicious behaviours
- Proactively identify, manage and escalate excluded persons or other persons of interest requiring action
- Analysing, investigating and providing accurate advice on security and surveillance matters
- Completing audits and authoring reports, daily logs and collecting evidence for incidents
- Ensuring a high level of confidentiality and safeguarding business, financial, and people informatio

**About you**
- Holder of a 1AE Security License or able to obtain one
- Demonstrated experience in a similar Surveillance role is beneficial (gaming/hospitality environment highly regarded)
- Strong observation and communication skills including written work
- Excellent computer skills with ability to work across multiple systems and platforms
- Strong aptitude in casino maths or relevant qualifications highly desirable
- Thrives in a team environment and has a passion for learning
- Exceptional probity and credit clearance and ability to obtain and maintain all relevant licenses
- To be considered for this role, _**_you must have 24/7 availability and be able to commit to a rotating roster that includes 12-hour shifts across days, nights, weekends and public holidays_**_. _
