Parks and Gardens Tradesperson

A national landscape maintenance, ground maintenance, landscape construction and horticultural company, who provide a cost effective services to residential estates, commercial projects and government departments, are currently seeking a enthusiastic Parks and Gardens trainee to join their team in Stafford.

As an apprentice, you duties will include things like mowing, brush cutting, hedging, edging etc. and you may also learn to undertake a variety of other duties including:

- installing and maintaining plant displays
- cultivating turf
- installing irrigation and drainage
- controlling weeds, pests and diseases
- performing operational maintenance of machinery
- providing information on plants, products and treatments

You will also work towards completing a nationally recognised qualification in Certificate III Parks and Gardens.

Employment will be Full Time and hours may be varied between 20 - 38hours a week - during operating hours of 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday.

To be considered for this position you must be punctual, motived, committed and willing to learn. Own car and licence is preferred. Previous experience within the industry would be advantageous.
