Showroom Manager

Hello coffee lovers Robert Walters has teamed up with De'Longhi Group, a trusted source for stylish and innovative domestic appliances. From top-notch espresso machines to toaster perfectionists, their brands - including De'Longhi, Kenwood, Braun, and more - are renowned worldwide for their quality, style, and ability to add that special touch of joy to every home.

They are currently seeking a Showroom Manager who will cultivate a welcoming environment for their customers to explore and discover the world of coffee. The primary goal is to educate and convert inquiries into sales. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable customer experience.

You will be based at their Zetland location and you will be required to work from Tuesday to Saturday 9AM-4PM.

Key Components
- Complete management of the showroom including product, staff, sales and consumer experience
- Stock management including ordering, pricing, deliveries, stock take, promotions
- Achieve monthly sales targets
- Manage a small team, rostering, ongoing product knowledge, on the job coaching, shift briefings, new product announcements
- Work on local marketing initiatives to engage the local community to drive foot traffic and awareness into the space
- Support training sessions, launch events and business review meetings hosted at the venue
- Follow market and category trends in coffee to understand consumer needs and influence a sale
- Take consumers on a coffee journey to show De’Longhi’s authority in coffee and educate customers on the De’Longhi brand and portfolio of products
- Provide tips & tricks to existing owners on getting the most from your coffee machine and be able to assist in basic troubleshooting
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends to support events and product launches
- Demonstrate a passion for drinking coffee and an appreciation and desire to learn what makes a perfect cup

Key Position Requirements and Personal Attributes
- Understand what it takes to make a sale in a retail environment
- Experience in providing excellent customer service
- Strong organisational skills, able to plan and then execute venue activities
- Store Operation’s experience in stock control and POS systems
- Able to work with local head office departmental staff to coordinate venue use and meetings
- Ability to work autonomously while fulfilling the requirements of the position and working in a team environment
- Flexible, hardworking, self-motivated and positive attitude
- Citizenship or PR
- First Aid certificate would be desired
