Job Overview:

We need sharp-eyed, paddle-wielding heroes to help us keep traffic moving safely and smoothly.

Whether it’s a busy roadwork site or a large public event, you’ll be the guiding force ensuring that traffic flows without a hitch. Patience, a sense of humor, and the ability to deal with Sydney drivers? All must-haves

Key Responsibilities:

- Master the stop/slow paddle like a traffic wizard, keeping vehicles and pedestrians safe.
- Set up and pack away traffic control devices (cones, barriers, signs) like a pro, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Direct traffic with confidence, communicate with team members and the public, and adjust plans if the road takes an unexpected turn.
- Always keep safety front and center by following traffic control plans and adhering to industry standards.
- Stay calm under pressure - whether it’s rush hour, construction chaos, or an impatient driver, you’ve got it covered.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Traffic Controller Certification (NSW) - You must have the certification to work with us
- A good understanding of Implementing Traffic Control Plans (ITCP) is a plus.
- Solid communication skills - clear instructions make the roads a safer place.
- Physically fit and ready for long hours standing on your feet (you’ll get plenty of fresh air).
- A sharp sense of responsibility with a dash of humor - we believe work should be enjoyable too.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $47.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

Licence/Certification:

- Traffic Control Licence (required)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
