**About the Opportunity**

We are on the lookout for superstar individuals, keen to start their career in Early Childhood Education. Whether you are currently studying towards your qualification or are interested in a taking part in our Traineeship program - we have opportunities for you.

Build foundational skills to set you up for a rewarding career assisting in shaping children and bringing out their greatest potential.

As a part of our traineeship program you would receive paid, hands on training while completing your qualification & paid study time allocated during working hours.

Casual and permanent opportunities available, based at Lightning Reef Early Learning Centre.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Be a keen learner and have a passion for developing yourself as an Early Childhood Educator
- Be self motivated and able to work both under the direction of a mentor and independently
- Have a willingness to learn and grow alongside the team

Qualifications required
- Employee Working with Children Check
- Be studying towards Certificate III in Early Childhood/Children’s services or interest in studying towards
- Willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certification
- Willing to obtain Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification

**About the centre**

YMCA Lightning Reef Early Learning Centre is a 115 place Long Day Care service, which also offers sessional kindergarten. We are committed to building strong relationships with our families, and understanding and supporting the complex needs of both the children and families attending our service.
