Bis are now currently recruiting for a Storeperson to join our team, based out of our Tomago Facility. Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, the Storeperson is responsible for the physical movement of parts inventory within Bis’ warehouses, workshops, and external customers. The duties of the Storeperson include, but are not limited to, receipting of goods, storage, dispatch, stock-take, and ongoing security of Bis inventory.
It is the duty of the Storeperson to support the provision of parts and other stores to meet site and workshop requirements, to ensure the physical accuracy and security of Bis inventory at both the site and warehouse levels. The Storeperson is also responsible for compliance of Bis inventory management and WHSE practices.
**Key responsibilities for this role include**:
- Inventory Management including receipting of goods inwards/outwards.
- Ensure accurate recording and documentation completion.
- Perform manual picking and packing duties.
- Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment.
- Stock take warehouse and site inventory as required.
- Maintain and support warehouse housekeeping requirements.
- Operate forklift as required onsite.
- Ensure a timely service for our internal customers.
**The successful applicant will possess**:
- Previous work history within stores and warehousing
- Have previous experience with pick/pack, dispatch, and receipting goods.
- Current High Risk Work Forklift Ticket (LF) with extensive operating experience.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively within deadlines to deliver relevant outcomes.
- Perform taskings independently and within a team environment.
- Possess a "can do" attitude along with a positive outlook and approach to safety issues.

**Who is Bis?**
