**The Role**

The ALS Food & Pharma business at Scoresby continues to grow, with this exciting opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our Food Chemistry Instrumentation Team. It's a Mon-Fri role, with paid overtime required when necessary. Ongoing training and development.

**The Day to Day**
- Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of MSMSs and GC/HPLCs including a variety of detectors
- Extraction, run and processing MRL analysis
- Preparation and analytical procedures conducted as per ALS Quality Work Instructions
- Completing discrete tasks within set timeframes and to relevant analysis standards.
- Actively involved in exploring innovation and improvement
- Contributing to safe and efficient laboratory operations

**The Essentials**
- 2+ years lab experience including hands-on with HPLC/GC
- Laboratory certificate, Diploma in Chemistry and/or comparable experience
- Experience with MSMS and validations preferred
- Dedication to best practice focusing on quality of results and health and safety
- A positive work attitude and supportive team player.
