Our client is a national market leading and contemporary organisation. Highly acquisitive, with a strong balance sheet and private equity backed, this organisation is in a growth phase They are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team for a period of 3-6 months. As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for processing all invoices, expense claims and payments, ensuring the accurate and timely payment of all suppliers and vendors.
**About the ROLE**
- Process invoices, expense claims and payments accurately and efficiently
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and process payment runs, including a weekly payment run
- Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any payment issues
- Maintain accurate records and files of all accounts payable transactions
- Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting as required
**About YOU**
- At least 2 years’ prior experience as an Accounts Payroll Officer or similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using MYOB, Xero and excellent Excel skill are highly desired
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrate initiative and take responsibility
