**About The Role**

Due to internal growth we are currently recruiting for maintenance fitters across both
**day and afternoon shift**. You will join a highly motivated and experienced team who provide excellent, time critical service ensuring the reliability of the production equipment. This is a role that offers the chance to develop your troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on a range of state-of-the-art automated production machinery.

The ideal applicants will be self-motivated and resourceful, with the capacity to work with mínimal supervision equally well as an individual or as part of a team, with a strong commitment to Health and Safety, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and reliability through the undertaking of planned and preventative maintenance activities

**The successful applicants will ideally possess the following**:

- Relevant trade qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment in the Food, Fast Moving Consumer Goods or Pharmaceutical industries is desirable.
- Understanding of preventative maintenance systems and techniques.
- Sound knowledge of high-speed packaging equipment, bearings, seals, shaft repair, conveying systems, etc.
- Knowledge of and experience with vacuum, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer focused and time conscious
