Do you enjoy pulling complex and changing parameters into perfect order? This Scheduling role is for you

**About the Opportunity**

As Scheduling Assistant, you will support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred supports for Participants by assisting the Participant Support Scheduling Partner (your Manager) to deliver on the purpose, key activities and outcomes of their role.

You will work closely with the HomePlace team in a supportive environment with opportunities for training and development.

Your tasks will include;
- working collaboratively with Senior Coordinators to develop rosters of care/schedules of support in line with Participant NDIS plans.
- preparation of related documents such as service agreements and quotations; Participant rosters, rosters of care, schedules of supports, staff work plans, and much more.
- developing staff work plans that achieve (wherever possible) a regular work pattern concurrent with the safe provision of participant-focussed supports, and within the constraints of HomePlace’s Enterprise Agreement and relevant legislation
- coordinating unplanned/short notice participant support and staff shift changes

- regular cross-checking processes to ensure that billing aligns to actual supports provided and all related rosters, plans, service agreements, quotes, and the participant’s NDIS funds.
- Forecasting Participant funding expenditure based on pattern of claiming/invoicing and alerting the Finance team of potential issues.

**About You**

You’re a people-person, enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and ideally have either worked in the disability sector or have lived experience/understanding.

You will have demonstrated experience in an administration role. It would also be great if you had previous experience in a similar complex scheduling or rostering position, however this isn’t essential.

Ideally you will bring experience in:

- data input and administration with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- preparing complex documents, plans or reports
- intermediate MS Office skills and the ability to quickly learn a variety of technology-based solutions (if you have used MYP-PocketWatch, that would be great)
- understanding/interpreting enterprise agreements, employment awards (inc. Social, Community, Home Care & Disability Award) and/or the Fair Work Act

DHS and NDIS clearances are essential so if you don't have these already, you must be able to be cleared for them. Other clearances may also be required to be completed or updated from time to time.
