Seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter and Diesel fitters for full-time permanent roles located in Pinkenba, our client is a well-established service vehicle and equipment manufacturing and hire company that have been specialising in quality builds and reliable service across Australia for the better part of 50 years. This role is offering stable job security in a long-term ongoing permanent role working at their Brisbane branch.
- **Up to $100,000 per year **with paid overtime
- Full Time Permanent Position on offer
- **6:30am - 3:30pm **Mon
- Friday
- Workshop located in Pinkenba
- **Monthly RDO** + Uniform and tool allowances
- Secure contract under an Australian manufacturing and hire leader
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Mechanical Fitters
- Fitting and assembly of new builds - Service vehicles such as truck mounted EWP's and various access gear and some heavy equipment
- Reading schematics and carrying out full new vehicle builds
- General workshop duties such as machinery operation
Diesel Fitters
- Carrying out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to fleet of heavy earthmoving mobile plant including Cat and Komatsu's, along with fleet service vehicles
- Fault finding repairing and/or replacing components as required
- Maintaining plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and site requirements
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
**ABOUT YOU**
- **Qualified Mechanical Fitter or Diesel Fitter**:
- Experience fitting, assembling, and or servicing and maintaining a variety of service vehicles and equipment
- Previous knowledge fitting Truck mounted EWP or access equipment highly regarded
- Looking for long term employment on a permanent basis
- Ability to work autonomously and in groups based in a workshop environment
