**Position Overview**:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced **English Tutor** with a strong background in preparing students for **Selective and Opportunity Class (OC)** exams and also to teach kindy to year 6 students. If you have personally attended a Selective or OC school, it will be considered as desirable advantage. This role will lead the English tutoring efforts, ensuring students receive top-notch instruction, while also taking an active role in leadership and contributing to brand development. We are seeking someone eager to be the face of our brand and invested in its long-term success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strong experience tutoring or teaching English, with a particular focus on Selective and OC exams. Kindy to Year 6 English tutoring.
- Personal experience attending a Selective or OC school is highly advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of exam formats, preparation strategies, and exam-specific content.
- Willingness to represent the brand, contribute to its leadership, and take an active role in shaping its identity.
- Develop and implement teaching strategies tailored for competitive exams such as Selective and Opportunity Class exams.
- Provide one-on-one and group instruction to help students excel in reading, writing, and comprehension.
- Collaborate with parents and the leadership team to assess student progress and address learning needs.
- Participate in curriculum development and refinement to align with exam standards.
- Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes student success.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $21.38 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Girraween, NSW 2145: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
