The Housing Investigations Officer is a role within the Housing Safety Authority and is accountable for investigating substandard properties and negotiating improvements in accordance with the Housing Improvement Act 2016 (the Act) and Regulations.

Ensuring rent paid is commensurate with the condition of the property and identifying the reasons why properties are deemed to be sub-standard.

**Special Conditions**
- Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Clearance prior to being employed.
- The successful applicant may be required to hold a current Australian issued Drivers Licence, which must be maintained.
- Some out of hours work may be required.
- Intrastate travel necessitating overnight absences will be required.

**Role Status**
Long term contract up to 27 June 2026.

**Requirements**:
Essential - An appropriate trade or post trade qualification.

**Remuneration**
$82,090 - $87,758 (OPS5)
