The **Future Generation Joint Venture** brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct **Snowy 2.0**. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

**Purpose of the Role**

The Lead Document Controller is responsible for leading the assigned section of the Project’s Document Control Team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high standard of performance and accuracy.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study, such as engineering, architecture, communications, technical writing, or actively pursuing completion of the degree - preferred
- White Card

**Experience**
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in document control, procurement or administration
- Experience working on large scale construction and engineering projects or other suitable projects works - preferred

**Required Competencies**
- Process oriented with exceptional knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across different levels
- Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to work to deadlines and targets whilst also being able to prioritise tasks
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports
- Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook

**Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Assist the Information Handover Manager in the supervision of the FGJV Document Control Team.
- Take responsibility for the document control function for all in-bound and out-bound formal project-controlled documents.
- Prepare reports on Department activity according to customer requirements.
- Prepare monthly reports to internal management.
- Working closely with Department Head to prepare Department forecasts.
- Review and update relevant Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Distribute project-related copies to internal teams.
- Create templates for future use.
- Retrieve files as requested by employees and clients.
- Manage the flow of documentations within the organisation.
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed.
- Process, distribute and maintain controlled documentation using the owner’s document control system.
- Participate in meetings, redact and submit relevant meeting minutes.
