About the role:
We are seeking a passionate Baker to join our team at **Binakc Pty Ltd T/A Bakers Delight** with a positive attitude to work in a team to provide excellent baking service.
This position will be reporting to our Director and the job description includes but is not limited to:
- Ensuring quality of raw materials and appropriate weight of the ingredients;
- Kneading, mixing, dividing, cutting, moulding, and shaping the dough;
- Monitoring the right temperature of the oven and time per the type of product to be baked;
- Full coordination for the baking process of forming loading, baking, unloading and cooling all bakery items namely bread, rolls and pastry products.
- Icing, glazing buns and pastries and decorating pastry goods
- Knowledge of operating the roller, moulder, prover, cooler and dough divider;
- Operating bakery equipment while adhering to safety protocol;
- Verifying cleanliness, hygiene and proper operation of all equipment before commencing the production process;
- Should ensure compliance with industrial health and safety guidelines;
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues in the bakery while also excelling independently;
- Communicate effectively with the director for bakery needs and assist in ordering and maintaining adequate supplies for baking operations;
- Maintaining production procedures and ensuring all orders are done on time;
- You should take appropriate care of Total Quality Management, ensuring the quality of the product is to Baker’s Delight standard.

About you:
We are seeking a friendly professional who possesses the following qualities:
- Formal qualification in baking (preferable).
- At least two years of experience in a similar position
- Be cool under pressure and love the pressure of busy service.
- Be able to help maximise profitability and control costs.
- Have proven baking experience. (at least three years)
- Be an excellent team player and should be able to deliver the best even under excessive working pressure.
- Take pride in producing high-quality products
Other Details
Type - Full-time, Permanent
Salary - AUD 73,200 per year plus superannuation
