**About the role**

We are looking for a Medical Imaging Assistant/Patient Care Assistant to join our friendly team at SKG Radiology based at the Hollywood branch on the Hollywood Hospital campus in Nedlands, WA, in our Nuclear Medicine Department.

As a Medical Imaging Assistant/Patient Care Assistant, you will be an integral part in the team by providing a high standard of care for our patients. You will be responsible for patient care prior to, during and after examinations and assisting in the areas of patient transfer and transport of hospital in-patients to and from SKG’s Hollywood Department. The role will also be required to take on additional departmental administrative tasks as directed, such as calling to confirm appointments and retrieving outside imaging.

This position is Full Time 75 hours a fortnight. This role would participate in public holiday and weekend rosters.

- Proven patient-care experience
- A Certificate III in Health Service Assistance/Health Support Services or similar will be an advantage.
- Be able to provide evidence of vaccination/immunity/screening to a list of vaccine-preventable diseases
