Seafood Handler

Aussie Seafood House has been proudly servicing Brisbane and South-East QLD for over 20 years. We take great pride in our business always striving to create the most comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for both our customers and employees. We are currently seeking applicants at our Capalaba location.

There will be extensive industry training in all areas of Seafood handling including:

- general product knowledge of seafood
- preparation of seafood from the supplier to the consumer
- knife handling skills
- technical filleting skills of multiple different species of fish
- packing and preparation of prepacked items prior to selling
- cleaning and hygiene standards
- safe handling of food
- correct stock rotation
- stocking and restocking of displays
- meeting production forecasts
- developing important people skills

No previous experience in seafood is required but a detailed resume with references is (if this is your first job personal references will be suitable).
