**About the Role**:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Elective Surgery & Gastro Manager to lead and manage critical elective surgery & gastroenterology services that directly impact patient outcomes and community health.
- The Elective Surgery & Gastro Manager is responsible for the coordination of patient access to elective surgery services and gastroenterology procedures both internally and with private partners.
- In this role you will:

- manage elective surgery operations across NALHN
- manage a team of elective surgery and gastroenterology booking staff providing support and direction in relation to elective surgery and colonoscopy guidelines
- regularly rotate portfolios with the Gastroenterology Manager to maintain comprehensive expertise
- navigate challenging situations and facilitate difficult conversations with stakeholders
- ensure efficient patient flow and optimal resource utilisation
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care

To be successful in this role, you will have proven healthcare management experience, strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to handle complex operational challenges.
