The Movement EP is a rapidly growing and established young company servicing the inner west, Sydney. Our aim is to provide the highest quality service and care for our clients and to help people of all walks of life to regain their control, independence and confidence within their own body.
**About the role**
The successful applicant will be working with a diverse range of clientele ranging from, but not limited to; neurological, metabolic, musculoskeletal, psychological, healthy populations (strength, weight loss, mobility, hypertrophy), in a 1:1 and small group setting.
A majority of the work will be conducted in an all female gym, thus a keen interest or knowledge to work with women in women's health is a must
The successful applicant will also be responsible for delivery of evidence based exercise prescription, assessment and education for clients through; Medicare, National Disability Insurance Scheme, Workers Compensation/Comprehensive Third Party, private and in small group settings.
This role is best suited to an individual who is motivated, outgoing, confident and enthusiastic to grow as a practitioner and excel both as an EP and reap the rewards that follow. The earning potentials of this position are not capped and are dependent on your eagerness to grow your caseload. This is not a typical 9-5 role but rather a role where you can control many aspects of your schedule and develop from your own initiative and drive.
**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Assessment and screening of clients
- Providing supervised exercise treatment
- Developing and implementing exercise treatment plans for a wide range of conditions
- Case conferencing with GPs and specialists
- Supervising group education and exercise sessions
- Home visit exercise sessions
- Development of social media marketing
- Communication with GPs and specialists to promote services and programs
- Working with technology to enhance the service
**Qualifications and experience**
- Accreditation in Exercise Physiology through Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA)
- Current first aid/CPR
- SIRA accreditation (desirable although not essential)
- Police check and working with children check
- Current drivers license and reliable car
- Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance
- ABN
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving and ability to think on the spot
