Your new role as an Officer Movement Control, will see you responsible for monitoring and coordinating the turnaround of all QantasLink aircraft in accordance with the Precision Timing Schedule within the Sydney Domestic Airport. Working within a small team, you will communicate extensively with a number of stakeholders both internal and external, ensuring all operational requirements are actioned in a timely manner.

It will see you Identifying the reason for any delays and reporting through accurate delay coding, Allocating aircraft parking bays in conjunction with schedule requirements, and bay constraints, Providing Aircraft traffic advice to Flight Crew and other stakeholders as required as well as any other tasks necessary to aid Aircraft Operational requirements.

You’ll have
- Previous exposure to the network schedule and port information
- A comprehensive understanding of an Airports operational environment
- Knowledge of the Amadeus Reservations system.
- Well-honed and matured communication skills
- The ability to work well under pressure and with tight time frames
- Ability to grasp relevant Aircrew EBA’s and CAO’s
- The ability to plan and organise
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast pace environment.
- Ability to work on a 7-day rotational shift roster
