As an Assistant Manager, you will be the most experienced of our operations team. Your role will involve:

- Having the keys to the castle You'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations across the entire club and leading our team in exceptional customer service and hospitality.
- Work amongst our current club supervisor team in a rotating roster and fostering strong communication and alignment
- Embedding our values in the everyday for our people, and instilling our collaborative, constructive organisational culture.
- Collaborate closely with our General Manager to deliver our business strategy for all areas of the Club
- Project work - involvement across multiple projects and portfolios whilst growing and leveraging relationships and the skills of experts across all of our locations
- Identifying and reporting opportunities to grow and increase performance; balancing team success, culture and connection to community with financial results
- Provide coaching, development and performance feedback to all team members, including managing performance concerns, recognising exceptional performance, and supporting training and onboarding.
- Provide insight into fluctuations in wages, wastage, stock and other cost contributors
- Implement and champion change as part of a progressive and evolving organisation

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- 5 years' experience in the management/leadership of diverse teams and proven ability to build high-performing, constructive teams
- Exhibit a caring approach with the ability to have fun and be calm under pressure
- Confidence to work independently and think on your feet to resolve issues and to manage tricky situations
- Display a willingness to be open to different opinions and see opportunities to learn and grow with the ability to self-reflect and debrief situations
- Exceptional experience in communicating with both customers and team members, and the ability to have the ‘difficult’ conversations
- Demonstrated ability to deliver agreed outcomes, targets, KPIs, both personally and for your team
- Knowledge of club operations and governing legislation
- A high standard of presentation and exceptional communication skills, including report writing and strong technological literacy
- A high degree of discretion, integrity and confidentiality
- Flexibility and availability across the operating hours of the club (8am-2am)
- Current RSA and RCG certificates
