Junior Geologist

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support senior geologists in planning and executing geological exploration activities, including mapping, sampling, and drilling programs.
- Collect, record, and interpret geological and geochemical data from field surveys and core logging.
- Assist in the development, interpretation, and updating of geological models.
- Analyze exploration results and contribute to technical reports, maps, and presentations.
- Maintain data accuracy and proper documentation in geological databases.
- Comply with company safety, environmental, and operational standards during all field activities.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of geological mapping, sampling techniques, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in geological software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills in both Dutch and English; working knowledge of Sranan Tongo is an asset.
- Willingness to travel to remote exploration sites and work on a 14-days-on (Monday-Friday) / 7-days-off rotational schedule.
