We are currently looking for a new team member who is reliable, hard working and a quick learner to support our busy, fast paced kitchen.

Zac’s Bistro is based in the Metroplex Industrial Estate at Murrarie and is a mix between takeaway and café style food. We offer many different types of food & drinks including; sandwiches, cakes, hot food, menu breakfasts & lunches, roasts, coffee, daily specials and more

**Your role will include**
- General kitchen duties including washing dishes, cleaning and putting equipment away, cleaning food storage areas including shelves, fridges, and coldroom
- Preparing a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables for our daily hot dishes and salads
- Slicing cold meats and vegetables daily for our fresh sandwiches, wraps and Turkish's
- Cleaning restaurant throughout the day including clearing tables of dishes, floors and emptying bins
- Putting away deliveries of fresh and frozen food in correct areas and following rotation, temp control and delivery procedures
- On occasion delivering coffee/ catering locally
- Restocking shelves, drinks fridges, packaging etc if required.

- You're someone who is highly organized and has a strong attention to detail
- You care about your work and the work of your team
- You’re an eager team-player who is eager to pitch in and help
- You have a love for quality food and good customer service

**What is on offer**
- 20-25 hours with the ability for this to increase based on performance
- Monday - Friday between 6am - 4pm
- Come and work within a great team environment

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

- Murarrie, QLD 4172: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
