Our client is currently seeking Full-time experienced Mechanical Fitters, and Boiler Makers in our Newcastle site.

You will need to have applicable tickets as well as previous experience in a similar position to be successful.

Essential requirements:

- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate for all Fitters / Riggers
- White Card
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Be physically fit
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have a strong problem-solving ability
- High Attention to detail
- Own Reliable Transport

Highly regarded:

- A heavy engineering / EG Gas and Oil background advantageous
- Current Working at Heights
- Current Confined Space
- Shutdown experience
- Your own tools and current reliable transport/driver's license
- Work safely, reliably, and comply with all site policies and procedures

Successful applicants will have an excellent safety attitude, a proven track record as a reliable employee with a good attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Works commencing immediately

**Salary**: $35.00 - $49.99 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (preferred)
