With an Australia wide network, our Paint Powerhouse stores provide a convenient place to access the very best coatings products and technologies on the market. **The Role** As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for providing an outstanding service to customers within our Welshpool branch, including over-the-counter sales and phone sales, as well as assisting with warehouse functions as required. **Key Responsibilities** - Liaise with the Credit Department about customer accounts. - Order entry - multiple types including Quotes, OTC, Standard, No Charge, Samples, and Returns. - Pack, label & assemble orders for delivery. - Unpack, check & put away replenishment products as required. - Support customer requests for products or information relating to products as required. - Solve customer problems including sourcing expert advice from within PPG as needed. - Orders packed & made ready for despatch to customers on time. - Process orders and collate appropriate paperwork. - Process over-the-counter customer sales and service. - Cash sales reconciliation including daily banking procedures. - Occasional paint mixing. - Compliance with all PPG policies and EH&S procedures. **Requirements**: - Customer Service experience in a trade environment is required. - General warehousing skills. - A forklift license is preferred but not required. - Permanent Working Rights in Australia is a must. **What We Offer** - Opportunities for development and long-term career progression. - Access to corporate discounts, including WhereFit, that provide wellness benefits to our employees. - Give back to local communities with our PPG Colourful communities program. - PPG Recognition programs. - Generous discounts on PPG products through our company owned store network. **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
