We now have an exciting opportunity for casual Container Unloading Crew members to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. Our work is flexible and located in Brisbane's North and South sides.

Your next opportunity
Core duties:

- Manually unload product from shipping containers onto pallets;
- Repetitive lifting loads (up to 25kg);
- Use of shrink wrap to manually wrap palletised goods;
- Safely operate forklifts to unload palletised goods using container ramps; and,
- Use forklifts to attach container ramp to shipping containers.

For us, the right attitude will stand out above any previous experience To thrive in this role, you will ideally have previous experience as a labourer or forklift operator. You will be a proactive and self-motivating individual with a can-do attitude and continuous improvement mindset.

Importantly is your sense of urgency and ability to work to strict deadlines. We are looking for safety-minded people who can follow strict safety rules in warehousing environments and who have good literacy and numeracy skills.

Moreover, you will possess the following:

- Current Drivers Licence and your own reliable transport;
- PPE (steel cap boots/high vis shirt); and
- Current high-risk forklift licence (if you don’t have it, we’ll help you get it)

Please note: you will need to continuously lift loads up to 25kg.
- Staging palletised goods in a warehouse environment
- Some manual work / shrink wrapping pallets
- Working to timeframes

To be successful you will possess:

- A current LF forklift licence
- Previous demonstrated experience in forklift operation
- Experience using Clamp forklift will be highly regarded
- Ability to learn how to operate clamp forklift if not experienced
- Ability to work afternoon shift Monday to Friday
- Great level of reliability and commitment to work
- A sense of urgency and piece work mentality
- Drivers licence and own transport

Work is paid PIECE RATE PER CONTAINER and gives the right people the opportunity to earn $35-$40/hour.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Redbank Plains, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
