**KU Kira Children's Centre **, located in Paddington **is close to the Allianz Stadium, just off Moore Park road, it offers **free on-site parking for staff **and is close to **the light rail stop. **The service caters for families of 'Sydney Water' employees and families of the local community.
The curriculum at KU Kira evolves from the relationships between children, educators and families. Through close relationships, a deeper understanding of children and family experiences and interests are developed and learning experiences and environments are designed to support children to research and explore, share thinking and viewpoints and accommodate new knowledge. At Kira, one of their main assets is the outdoor natural spaces that they have in an inner city location. With a belief that traditionally indoor activities can also be enjoyed outdoors, children are supported in exploration and physical activity.
We are looking for a team player with a Diploma qualification that is committed to creating a nurturing and educational environment for children and shows passion and dedication whilst promoting inclusion, equity and sustainability.
On offer is a permanent, full time position working Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (on a rotating roster), accruing one monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO).
**This position may require you to be the responsible person so experience/knowledge of the role as RP an advantage**
Applicants should have:
- Australian working rights
- A current NSW Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Certificate III
- Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
