Job Description

**About the Role**

This role involves ensuring both external and internal customers are supplied with the correct parts in a timely manner, whilst maintaining high customer service standards at all times on the phone, counter sales and between branches.

**Principle Accountabilities**:

- Process all branch spare parts orders, including pricing, opening of new parts on the computerised system and placement of orders to overseas and local suppliers
- Pick parts orders for customers
- Answer telephone queries relating to parts orders
- Assist staff members with inventory management
- Pack goods for dispatch
- Receipt incoming parts orders, branch transfers & external suppliers
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing goods
- Greet customers at the counter and answer their parts queries and place orders
- Provide staff with a technical assistance and general support
- Provide assistance to the Sales Department
- Ensure compliance with the relevant OHS&Q

**Role Requirements**:

- Adequate level of literacy and numeracy skills
- Adequate computer keyboard skills
- Good phone manner
- Customer service focus
- Ability to present a professional, friendly and approachable image
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Must have an enthusiastic and willing approach to learn new skills and help others
