Bookkeeper

**We are on the hunt for a Bookkeeper**

Located in Brisbane, Austral Accountants offers services to all tax and accounting matters at a friendly price The organization consists of advisory, tax and business accountant teams who together make it the perfect option in terms of expertise and dynamic thinking.

The individual we are looking for needs to be someone who can handle both, administrative and accounting functions. The individual must be proactive with the ability to manage competing work priorities and meet company deadlines. He/she will also need to understand the importance of using initiative and drive to continuously strive for best outcomes and solutions.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of one year working experience in Australia
- A higher diploma/degree in Accounting
- Sound experience with QuickBooks, Xero and MYOB.

**Duties**:

- Bookkeeping activities
- Payroll Management
- Finance management
- End of month/quarter/year processes
- Preparation of GST, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation and Workcover reports
- Preparation of monthly financial reports
- Preparation and monitoring of budgets
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
