**The role**

- Level 7 - $101,421 to $110,819 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)
- Wagga Wagga (on-site)

As the Manager, (Feedlot) Intensive Livestock Systems, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our intensive livestock facilities, ensuring excellence in animal welfare, productivity, and innovation. You’ll lead a high-performing team, manage feedlot operations, and support research and industry engagement activities that align with the University’s strategic goals.

This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise in livestock management, business acumen, and collaborative mindset will drive the success of a nationally significant research and demonstration facility.

**About you**

You are a confident and capable leader with:

- Extensive experience in the Australian livestock industry, particularly in intensive systems.
- Strong knowledge of animal husbandry, feedlot operations, and low-stress livestock handling.
- A commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A passion for innovation and sustainability in agriculture.
