Fire Technician

Zircon Fire Compliance are seeking an experienced fire technician to:

- Repair & Install fire dampers
- Install fire stopping systems

**Duties**:

- Our factory & office are located at Campbelltown, all jobs are in the CBD. Daily travel to the CBD is essential to this role.
- Installation of fire protection systems including, fire dampers & fire stopping solutions within commercial and residential buildings.
- Ability to interpret test reports & installation standards for fire dampers and fire stopping installations.
- Maintain detailed records of all works carried out using our software system.
- General hours are between 7am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday, with some out of hours and Saturday work required.

**Requirements**:

- You must have experience in the fire industry, specifically in the areas of fire dampers and fire stopping installations & repairs.
- Self-driven, honest & trustworthy.
- Have your own set of hand & power tools.
- Ability to problem solve & propose solutions for issues on the job.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Cert III in Carpentry highly regarded.
- FPAS Accreditation Inspect & Test ( desirable )
- EWP & Scissor Lift Licence ( desirable )

**Essential Criteria**:

- Full NSW Drivers Licence
- Construction White Card

**Salary**:

- Rate to be discussed at interview depending on experience.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
