Yoga Teacher

Academies Australasia, an education group made up of 18 colleges offering more than 150 qualifications, is seeking a highly passionate and motivated Yoga Teacher to drive and inspire students towards a successful career in the Yoga industry.

They will be highly experienced Yoga teacher who is ready to pass on their broad knowledge and expertise to a new generation of Yoga practitioners and teachers. In this role you will use your expertise in conjunction with our innovative Yoga teaching materials. You will also use your knowledge and skills to design, develop and implement new Yoga curriculum.

**In this role you will**:

- Deliver the Advanced Diploma of Holistic Classical Yoga Teaching and Therapy and Diploma of Holistic Classical Yoga Practice and Teaching mainly to international to students - both theory in the Yoga classroom, and practical components in our Yoga studio.
- Provide support and feedback to the students
- Monitor, mark and conduct student assessments and practical exams
- Monitor course progress of each student

**The successful applicant must have**:

- A Vocational Advanced Diploma of Yoga and a Bachelor Degree or higher qualification
- Current TAE 40122 or equivalent
- Teaching experience in the vocational sector including CRICOS
- Minimum of 3000 hours Yoga teaching experience, with at least two years teaching experience in Australia
- Minimum Level 1 Yoga Australia Teacher membership
- Recently completed Professional development courses in Yoga
- Experience in designing and delivering Yoga course content including: resource materials for students, creating assessments both practical and theoretical
- Sensitivity to students from different cultural backgrounds - including experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A high level of attention to quality and detail
- Proficiency in a second or third language would be advantageous
- Experience in working with clients with special needs and using holistic Yoga practices while working with diverse groups like children, adults and seniors
