This role will be required to participate in various shifts between the hours of 06:30 to 02:00 Monday to Sunday. In addition, you may be required to work evening shifts, relief work and perform on call work as determined by the operational requirements of the business.**About **us**

- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Routine receipting and processing of specimens
- Pre and post analytical specimen handling
- Identification and prioritisation of urgent specimens
- Filing and storage of specimens

**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
- Previous laboratory experience and exposure to medical terminology would be desirable, but not essential
- Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes
- Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
