Experienced Baristas

Rollers Bakehouse is looking for a passionate and experienced barista to join our coffee team. Casual and full time roles available with flexible hours and days. Experience is necessary, especially with specialty coffee, both filter and espresso based drinks. The role involves both experience in coffee but also customer service with customers. - Have a good attitude - Enjoy producing top quality coffee to be served alongside our pastries - Represent Rollers Bakehouse with a positive outlook and open-minded approach to work - Demonstrated experience in high volume, fast-paced workplace - Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods - Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude - Passionate about hospitality, pastry and coffee - Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team - Excellent communication skills - Strong understanding of food safety standards - Able and willing to work rotating roster that includes weekends and public holidays - Punctual and reliable **Responsibilities**: - Greet customers as they enter - Prepare beverages following recipes - Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins - Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) - Keep the bar area clean - Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates - Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs - Comply with health and safety regulations - Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items **Skills** - Previous work experience as a Barista necessary - Hands-on experience with coffee brewing equipment - Knowledge of sanitation regulations - Flexibility to work various shifts - Ability to gauge customers’ preferences - Excellent communication skills **About Rollers Bakehouse** We are a unique croissant bakery in Sydney, we strive to create the world class croissants and are constantly pushing to create interesting and dynamic pastries each week.
